Pig Launcher & Receiver

In order to run a pipeline pigging procedure, we need to utilize an equipment which is capable to launch a particular device called “pig” through the pipeline at the beginning point called launcher and another one to receive it at the end of the line called receiver.
Pig traps or also known as pig launchers and receivers are installed on the pipelines to offer a safe and effective means of inserting and removing the pigs to and from pipelines. Accordingly, both pig launcher and receiver contain a pressurized container to reach that purpose.
